What does the subscription fee cover? One year's membership of DepList, plus an optional listing in the Members' Area on our own website. When should I pay the fee? When you are instructed by us to do so. New Members should also read our basic subscription information page. PayPal says that I have successfully cancelled my subscription! I didn't ask for this. What's happened? Your subscription fee is taken automatically from your payment card on the anniversary of your first payment. If your credit card expires or if you are issued with a new card, your subscription payment will not be taken and PayPal will advise you how to update your credit card details in your PayPal account. If you fail to do this, PayPal will terminate your subscription. The termination of your PayPal subscription will NOT, however, affect your membership status with DepList. PayPal will notify us of your subscription cancellation and we will keep this information on file. If your subs is cancelled by PayPal, you do not need to inform us. We will contact you at renewal time to let you know that your subscription term has ended and to give you the option to renew it. Do not start a new subscription until we contact you, otherwise you will pay twice over for some of the period of the subscription. How do I renew my subscription? If you have paid using our PayPal subscription account, your subscription will be renewed automatically every year until you choose to cancel it. The annual charge will be taken automatically from your credit card (or whatever source of funding is registered to your PayPal account) on the anniversary of your first payment. If your credit card expires mid-term and you have not updated your PayPal account details in the meantime, your subscription will be cancelled by PayPal. If this happens, wait until you hear from us (see previous paragraph for more information). If you paid by other means, we will remind you when your subscription is due for renewal. How do I terminate my subscription? By logging in to your PayPal account and following instructions to cancel your subscription. (My Account -> History -> Subscriptions -> Status). You can terminate your subscription at any time before it is due to be renewed, and you will remain a Member until your subscription has run its course. If you do not intend to renew your subscription you should make sure to cancel your subscription before its renewal date. Do I get a refund if I terminate my subscription? Not if you leave DepList of your own accord. But yes if circumstances force us to remove you from DepList. Do I have to use PayPal to pay my subscription? Yes. PayPal's automated subscription system is the main reason why we have been able to keep our DepList fees so low (and unchanged over the years). PayPal allows payment by bank transfer, credit card or debit card. FULL MEMBERS ONLY: If I change my DepList subscription address (or if I have two or more subscription addresses (e.g. work and home), will I have to pay more than one subscription fee? No. The email address that you have registered with PayPal is the one that will be registered against your name for payment purposes. You can have as many DepList addresses as you like for the price of your membership - as long as you let us know so that we can match owners with addresses.
