DepList sponsors must meet the following criteria:

• They must be currently paid-up Full Members.
• They must have at least six months of membership to their credit.
• They must have a "clean" record (i.e. not had any valid complaints lodged against them)
• They must not be a family relation of the applicant.
• They must not be the applicant's current boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse or partner (i.e. not have cause to be unfairly biased in their judgement).
