Corinne Orde is half Belgian but has lived all her life in England. In Bonne Chanson, Belle Epoque, a new album of settings by symbolist poets with Belgian connections (Paul Verlaine, Charles Baudelaire and Charles Van Lerberghe), she has returned to her mother-tongue with six major song cycles by Fauré and Debussy.
