We can email your recruitment advert to all our member singers, organists and choral directors. Membership is by personal recommendation and strict admission criteria. (We enforce our rules and not all applicants get accepted!) This means that your advertisement will only be seen by suitably qualified and experienced musicians. Some of our members have put up their profiles on these pages.

Our members will respond to you directly. If you would prefer us to book the singers on your behalf we can do this for a small fixing fee.

Advertisements from non-Members normally come to us first for approval before we forward them to our Members. There may be a delay of up to one day before we send them out. We reserve the right not to send out adverts that we consider inappropriate for this service.

We accept the following:

• recruitment ads for professional work at industry-standard rates of remuneration
• announcements of upcoming auditions
• notifications of vacancies for professional short-term or long-term positions

We do not accept the following:

• advertising of products and services
• concert notices
• recruitment ads for unpaid work (whether amateur, voluntary or charitable)

We will send out your (or your organisation's*) first advert free of charge.† Subsequent adverts cost £2.00 each. We will invoice you after we have sent out the advert.

Unlimited and Instant Advertising for £10 per year

If you are likely to place several advertisements with us, you can join DepList as an Associate Member. A yearly subscription fee of £10 will entitle you to unlimited use of the advertising service. A further benefit is that your advertisements will go instantly and directly to our Members without coming to us first.

To join DepList as an Associate Member, please use our free trial service for your first advertisement so that we can gauge the suitability of the type of advertisement that you will be sending out. Then you can simply take out a subscription on our secure PayPal payments page. Thereafter, you can send out adverts directly whenever you like.

Full Members should use our email messaging service to post messages to DepList.

*An organisation is taken to mean any church, choir, musical society or official body under whose auspices the booking is being made. The advertiser will normally be deemed to be the organisation benefitting from our service rather than the person making the booking, unless the advertiser is clearly a freelance musician seeking a deputy for him/herself at short notice.
